While visiting the farm you are welcome to walk one of the vineyards and taste our delicious wines available for sampling. Currently we offer 12 samples of wine for $12, along with other choices of mini tastings, flights, glasses and seasonal wine treats like slushies or sangria!  We have delicious wine and some are infused with lavender!  You will be pleasantly surprised at the smooth flavor and finish.

Happy Day Farm is run by Farmer Tim.  “In 2012, Tim took his love and passion for family and farming and purchased an abandoned 70-acre farm in Manalapan, New Jersey which officially launched Happy Day Farm. Tim utilized the portion of land to plant pumpkins and hold Fall Harvest activities including a corn maze, zoo, horse shaped swings, pedal carts and more.

In 2016, Tim purchased an additional 60 acres adjacent to the farm, making Happy Day Farm a total of 130 acres. The farm has now expanded to include u-pick blueberries, raspberries, sunflowers, lavender and zinnias and much more!

Spend the day wandering through our lavender garden and enjoy the aromatic scent. We grow one variety of lavender named ‘Phenomenal’. We have multiple photo ops in the field for you to enjoy. Monte-Bellaria di California – The name Monte-Bellaria is derivative of the Italian for “mountain of beautiful air.”  We chose this name due to the afternoon foggy winds that blow in from the Northern California coast, cleansing the air and sweeping into the valley and lavender fields below.

Lavender

Monte-Bellaria’s lavender plantings are the most commonly grown varietal in France. Our lavender is a hybrid of English Lavender and Portuguese Lavender, called a “Lavendin.” We grow a mix of the two most common hybrids: Grosso and Provence.

Olives

Monte-Bellaria Extra Virgin Olive Oil is our own all-natural, cold pressed and unfiltered oil. Pressed within 24 hours and within 2 miles of the olive grove at Olive Leaf Hills Mill using their Italian-made Rapanelli press. This is a premium green oil, picked young for a rich and peppery flavor.

Bees
