Lavender by the Bay

7540 Main Rd, East Marion, NY 11939

Lavender by the Bay – “Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Lavender by the Bay, a family-owned farm has been growing the highest quality lavender for over 20 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut English and French lavender bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets, body products and honey from our own beehives.

In 2002, we expanded our company by purchasing 17 acres of farmland in East Marion, New York. We have planted twenty varieties of lavender across 15 acres of farmland, yielding over 100,000 plants for cultivation. In 2018 we expanded to our second farm in Calverton, New York.

The lavender is typically in bloom mid/late June through mid-July, but is ultimately up to Mother Nature. In order to preserve the beauty, form, and peaceful nature of the farm, tickets are required to enter the fields while the flowers are in bloom. Tickets will be released as we get closer to the bloom.”

“Lavender Manor Farms is a family owned, small business, growing  lavender, saffron and arnica. The Lavender Manor is a 19th century stone farmhouse located in the enchanting hills of Schoharie County NY.  We purchased the property in April of 2018 and immediately began working on its restoration. Being born and raised in upstate New York, natives       of farm country, we were quick to recognize the unique opportunity before us, a chance to bring this farm back to life. Lavender Manor Farms is an expression of our love for rural New York State, an appreciation for its history and a legacy to our children and grandchildren.

The focus of our crop choice is growing plants that can be incorporated into your health and wellness practices. We observe organic growing practices and will be offering all of our products through our online store, here at our farm and at select community events. “
