You can enjoy their Sunflower Festival, generally in July, and have fun with live music, games, crafts and face painting.
They also have a ‘Harvest Celebration’ event in the fall where you can pick pumpkins, carve pumpkins and let the kids enjoy storytelling and face painting.

F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm

Fall is our favorite season here at F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm. “Why, you might ask? Because it’s a continuation of a decades old tradition wherein parents bring their children to pick their own pumpkins, Bill, Ferdie and the other farmers give hayrides, and families have a time to reconnect as the long hot summer comes to a close. Continue your family tradition or start a new one, this fall at F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm in Melville.
