There is a whole array of seasonal activities taking place at Grandpa Tiny’s Farm in Frankenmuth.  “Frankenmuth is rich in history, and Grandpa Tiny’s Farm is a big part of it! Founded in 1932 by William ‘Tiny’ Zehnder, this has been a working farm with crops and livestock ever since.

You can be assured of a wonderful day out for all the family when you visit Krupp Farms in Michigan.

“Krupp Farms is an iconic landmark known to thousands of people who come from all over the region each summer to buy or pick berries, enjoy our petting zoo, visit our ice cream shop or play on our playground.

Krupp Farms is a fourth-generation centennial farm, located just north of Grand Rapids in Comstock Park, MI on Krupp Avenue. Although Krupp Farms started as a strawberry farm, we now offer asparagus, rhubarb and red and black raspberries as well.

At Krupp Farms, we grow and offer a large variety of strawberries for our customers on over 18 acres. Our strawberries are offered pre-picked in our berry barn or customers can come to our farm and pick their own. Our strawberries are perfect for eating, dipping, pies, freezer or cooked jam or shortcake to name a few!

At Knaebe’s Mmmunchy Krunchy Apple Farm there’ is so much more than just apples!  They have farm animals to visit during the fall.

“Knaebe’s is a cozy and fun Apple Orchard located in Northeast Michigan where you’ll find the most delicious donuts, cookies and pies, (and tons of other bakery items), fresh pressed cider, jams, maple syrup, honey and pickled veggies and great gifts in our barn! Don’t miss our hard cider and wood fired pizza, too! We offer u-pick apples and pumpkins and there are friendly farm animals to visit and hay rides to enjoy! Visit us in the fall – Labor Day weekend through early November.

Fall Activities

Our orchard is admission free. Wood Fired Pizza and Hard Cider can be enjoyed in the barn adjacent to Knaebe’s main barn. This is one arm of the operation that you won’t want to miss! Visit our farm animals and playground Wednesday through Sunday, horseshoes and cornhole are also available (all free of charge!).

The farm only opens in the fall but you can have fun in the corn maze, pick pumpkins, visit their petting zoo and marvel at their sunflowers.

New Salem Corn Maze

At New Salem Corn Maze there is a non-scary daytime corn maze.
