A very large proportion of Wickham farm land has been placed in Suffolk County’s Farmland Preservation program, which means that for generations to come, this land is “forever agriculture.”

Woodside Farms
116-144 Manor Ln, Riverhead, NY 11901
Woodside Orchards was started “as a small wholesale apple farm located off Manor Lane in Jamesport NY in 1982 by Robert H. Gammon. The business started as a small family run apple orchard that offered fresh fruit and baked goods. Robert and his wife Doris would sell the apples at local farmers markets and on the weekends at “The Apple Shed”, the farm stand on their property in Jamesport.
In 2002 Bob and Scott bought the property in Aquebogue and built a secondary location to help aid the growing demand for u-pick apples in the fall. In 2012 that location became our tasting room with the release of their first 3 Hard Ciders Traditional, Traditional Sweet and Raspberry.
