Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards have a farm store that is open all year.  They sell “fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade baked goods, local gourmet goodies, jams, and local honey. And don’t miss our own apple cider and apple cider donuts!”  They have their own vineyard and winery, with wines made from grapes grown at Terhune Orchards.  They run a ‘Read and Pick’ program for kids.  “Read and Pick is a great way to introduce your young child to the fun of the farm. Read and Pick is an innovative program that combines hands on experience on the farm with an educational program and listening to a story highlighting that activity.”  Check their website for the program schedule.

Terhune Orchards have strawberry picking from late May until early June.  Who doesn’t love strawberry picking – it’s the taste of approaching summer!

Battleview Orchards

There will be a $5.00 per person fee to enter our strawberry patch. This fee will include a $5.00 credit per person, towards the strawberries you pick in the patch with no refunds given.

Stonyfield Orchard are “family owned and operated orchard in Belvidere, NJ, where you can pick your own or have us pick it for you.  You can also purchase fresh goods from our farm store year ’round.  We are kid-friendly, with cows and other farm animals for the children to see.

Come to our Farm Store for freshly picked produce:  strawberries, sweet & sour cherries, peaches, apples, pumpkins, pears, tomatoes, potatoes, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and herbs. Apples are available through the winter until April. Cider is pressed all winter long and is available through June.

We also carry eggs, cheeses, jellies and maple syrup, as well as Vermont cheese, preserves, relishes, salad dressings and more.

Strawberries can be picked in June.

Dalton Farms is a “99 acre family owned and run farm conveniently located in southern New Jersey just off 322, and in close proximity to (3.7 Miles), and Delaware Memorial Bridge (12 Miles). With family ties to the farm extending back to 1790, the Dalton family is proud to continue this tradition now under the ownership of Keith, Ann, and Connor.
