The 50 year old Darts Christmas Farm is one of the oldest Christmas Farms in Long Island.

Visit this farm if you want to buy Fraser Fir trees in different sizes. They offer hand saws and helpers to help you cut the tree. Dart Christmas tree farm stands out because of the distinctive painted trees, painted in eye-catching hues like pink, purple, blue and gold. Shop for Christmas ornaments, handmade wreaths and a variety of Christmas decorations at their Christmas shop.

It opens its door for the public from Black Friday, the last day being Christmas Eve.

Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm

There are over 8,000 Douglas Fir trees to choose from at the Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm. The 30 acre farm is an ideal place to spend Christmas with your family.

They offer a variety of entertaining activities including ice skating, a petting zoo, pony rides, bouncy castles, hayrides, candle making, face painting and cookie decorating. Sip on some hot chocolate and munch on some doughnuts.

Carter ‘Choose and Cut’ Christmas Tree Farm 

Listed on the National-Register of historic places, Carter Christmas Tree Farm is a well known name. Families return here every year.

Choose from White Fir, White Spruce, Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, and Norway Spruce and cut it with your own saw or borrow it from them. They will pack your tree but you will have to arrange your own transport. Spiced hot cider is beyond delicious.

Pick up some beautiful wreaths and other decorations at their Christmas shop. If you don’t want to cut your tree before December, you can mark your tree by decorating it, so that when you visit it closer to Christmas, you can spot your tree from a distance. They are open only on weekends.

Mike’s Christmas Tree Farm

A family-operated farm, each year it is thrown open to the public just after Thanksgiving, last date being the Christmas eve to pick your tree. You will be spoilt for choice, with different varieties and sizes of Spruces available here.

They are known for Colorado Blue Spruce, White Spruce and Norway Spruce. They provide saws if you choose to cut your own tree. The staff is extremely helpful and provides outstanding assistance. Live trees in pots or burlap balls are also for sale.
